PM at EM

Today, Tony Blair, or “The Tonester” as I call him at our weekend soft rock jam sessions, writes for the Euston Manifesto Website. As an experiment I’ve opened a Euston Manifesto forum where you can tell him what you think of what he has to say about public service reform—on a day when the biggest political story is the Stern report: “I’M SAVING THE WORLDYOU LOT ARE PAYING”—The Sun.

For those of you who don’t babysit for the Tonester and Chezza and can’t send him little tips by txt msg like I do, then this could be your chance to give him the benefit of your own insights on the subject.

Yesterday I also read an article about the Euston Manifesto by a 22-year-old anti-Iraq war Sheffield Labour student.

Is the ‘tone’ going to reply or is he just ‘listening’?

    Care to refute, Pooter?

I have stuck my nose in here.

    Thanks.

I have tried to re-educate “Richard W. Symonds” via the Euston Manifesto Group / Henry Jackson Society orbiting MindBender satellite, but unfortunately he has encased his head in a thick layer of tin foil.

Thanks for your, er, intervention on our behalf. The cash transfer from the CIA is on its way to your bank account.

(To give you some idea of how little the EMG has to do with the HJS, the last time I discussed them with anyone in the group was back in August when Shalom Lappin, another Euston Manifesto drafter, and I were walking to the Darfur meeting at KCL and he and I idly wondered out loud about why they had chosen Henry Jackson as their figurehead.)

I have no idea if he will reply in the forum, but have it on good authority that he is willing to reply to longer articles.

Thanks for your, er, intervention on our behalf.

    American-Muslim Criticisms of Blair…

We are looking at strange times for Britain compared to the days when She dominated the waterways with a monstrous Navy led by its overbearing yet brilliant Minister of Admiralty, Sir Winston. This was a time when the country was united and unyielding …
