		<description>I thought they just shot continuously as well, but I read an article this week online---one that I would have linked to if I could remember where---that said otherwise. I&#039;ve got to concede that the newest and most expensive digital SLRs can now shoot more frames per second than my 90s vintage Dynax 9.

I don&#039;t get invited to photograph major sporting events either. News outlets aren&#039;t keen on waiting two weeks to see the action in black-and-white.</description>

		<description>I always assumed they put the camera on burst mode, taking 3-5 frames each time.  That&#039;s what I do anyway, but you&#039;ll notice that I tend not to get invited to photograph major sports events.</description>
