Does she have a bigger stock of expressions than the current assistant ? Or will she simply raise her eybrows to show surprise/fear/tiredness/happiness/lust/thirst/boredom ?
Maybe this photo is a subtle post-modern reference to her earlier career, as it does look very much like a publicity shot for Crossroads - and not the modern version, either.
I think David is brilliant and the new assitant looks the part too. He doesnt have to be old to be the doctor and niether does she, times have changed and I always watch Doctor Who and think it is amazing!

I think david is a brill actor.Its a shame that billie piper isn’t in it anymore.I think they really suited each other.When i saw Martha though,i thought nah she don’t go with him.But now i’ve seen her having interviews i think she and the doctor will get on together.But no one will ever replace rose tyler

I think that David tennant has gripped his audience with his excellent talent in acting. I think that it doesnt matter what age he is, he still makes a very good doctor. Actually, i prefer him to the other doctors. I love the whole saucy and foxy buisness.

I have loved David Tennant since the first time I saw Doctor Who, and because of him I still watch it now, he makes Doctor Who fantastic! I thought Billie Piper made an amazing assistant, and I actually cried on the last episode! I know sad isnt it!
But I made sure I watched the new series, and actually Freema Agyeman is quite good, I was sooo jealous of her in the first episode lucky git getting to kiss David Tennant, I mean David I need some of that to make me survive once in a while!! David you are one amazing actor and I hope to see you a lot in the future! At the moment I am not going to miss my weekly dose of David! My biggest dream is to meet you David! 1 day I hope it comes true! Love you and Doctor Who FOREVER!! Unfortunately I am only 16!!

Perhaps this is also the moment to say that every episode of the revived Dr Who that I have sat down to watch with friends or relatives has been toe-curlingly badly written—except for the one when Rose left. It’s a shame because there are obviously many talented people involved in making it and because when I was a little boy I used to wear my granddad’s scarf and pretend to be Dr Who.
