But then they never really went on to pretend to be anything other than posh I suppose, so maybe they don't count. Dido and her brother Rollo (who is in Faithless) are also posh enough to look down on the royal family as social inferiors I think. I rememeber Boris Johnson saying that they were mates. I remember some interview with him saying that he (Boris) used to be a punk (he said he never had to dye his hair to look a fright...) and one day, when he was going through Twickenham on the train on a Rugger day, some 'perfectly upstanding middle-class gent' berated him for his punky appearance. He said that he wishes that he had stood up to him and said "I'm a future Conservative member of parliament" but instead he just sat there blinking at him.
