The other shocking Today Programme interview this morning was with the normally gelatinous Charles Kennedy, who somehow managed to take a harder line than the BBC on the apparent release of the scientific head of Iraq’s biological weapons programme in an effort to placate murdering terrorists. He even used the words “murder” and “terrorism”. Perhaps the Beeb will have to start censoring him.
